SVC-03 · Switchboards & MCCs

Boards built in Griffith, tested before they leave.

We design and build main switchboards, motor control centres, and process and control boards in our own workshop. Main switchboards are designed to your local network distributor's requirements and the NSW Service and Installation Rules, so they're ready for grid connection. Every board is tested before it ships, then installed and terminated by the same crew, so there's no handover gap between builder and installer.

What we do

  • Main switchboards and distribution boards
  • Grid-connection ready, to distributor requirements
  • Motor control centres (MCCs)
  • Process and control boards

STAGE 03

Build

Busbar systems, switchgear and wiring fabricated in our Griffith workshop.

STAGE 04

Test

Every board tested before it ships, with full test records.

STAGE 05

Install

Delivered, installed and terminated by the crew that built it.

STAGE 06

What we build

From distribution boards to complex MCCs.

Every board is designed for where it will live, whether that's a plant room, a paddock or a hot Riverina summer.

  • Main switchboards designed to distributor requirements for grid connection
  • Busbar systems engineered and fabricated in-house
  • Complex motor control centres with VSDs, soft starters and smart motor starters
  • Distribution boards for plants, sheds and commercial sites
  • Outdoor, weather-rated boards for exposed sites
  • Indoor-rated boards for plant rooms and switch rooms
  • Air-conditioned enclosures for drives and control gear in high temperatures

Full turnkey

FAQs

Common questions

Can you build a main switchboard for a new grid connection?

Yes. Our main switchboards are designed to your local network distributor's requirements and the NSW Service and Installation Rules, so they're ready for connection.

Do you do the temperature rise and fault current calculations?

Yes. We carry out the temperature rise calculations and fault current verification for each assembly as part of our AS/NZS 61439 design, along with the distributor compliance documentation.

Can you build boards for outdoor or hot locations?

Yes. We build outdoor weather-rated boards, indoor-rated boards, and air-conditioned enclosures for drives and control gear in high-temperature locations.

What standard are your switchboards built to?

Switchgear assemblies are built to AS/NZS 61439 and wired to AS/NZS 3000, with full test records and as-built drawings supplied.

Are boards tested before delivery?

Every board is tested in our workshop before it ships, so problems are found on the bench, not on site.

Do you install the boards you build?

Yes. The same crew that builds the board installs and terminates it, so there's no handover gap between the builder and the installer.
